They are frequently dissolved in spiritual baths, floor washes, and home cleansing rituals to purify the environment, remove spiritual heaviness, and invite peace and positive vibrations.

Many practitioners use Blue Balls when cleansing a home after conflict, preparing a sacred space, or performing uncrossing and protection work. Their deep blue color is traditionally associated with peace, tranquility, spiritual protection, and the removal of unwanted influences.
